The Arcata Police Department is excited to be opening its doors to the community for A Look Inside the APD on Saturday, December 8. This family-friendly event provides a unique opportunity for community members to visit APD, ask questions and learn more about the Police Department’s work in Arcata’s neighborhoods. Chief Brian Ahearn will be offering tours inside the Police Department and of APD’s Mobile Command Vehicle, and attendees will have the opportunity to meet Officer O’Donovan and his K9 Baron. Arcata CERT will have a table at the event too. Plus, coffee, pastries and doughnuts will be provided. All community members are invited and encouraged to attend.
