The Emergency Alert System (EAS) will be triggered at about 11:00 am on May 29th in Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino county.  This will interrupt local radio and television stations.  For those on the North Coast, please tune into a station a little before 11 and let us know how clearly the EAS broadcast came through.  Humboldt and Del Norte will also test the Everbridge emergency notification system - just confirm that you received the text, email, or phone call when you get it.  No civil air patrol flyovers this year - weather conditions make it unsafe.
